Shopping Cart Elite Joins the PORN Industry? Gro Project

July 21st, 2009 Gro-Pro No comments

Porn Comes to GRO  :)

Unbelievable! Who is the Brains on this? The Aftermarket Car Accessory Market is now in competition with the PORN industry. :( Basically if you are using shopping cart elite software to sell aftermarket car accessories, performance car parts, wholesale automotive car parts distributor or plan on taking the chance on the site builder program and franchise you are all using the same cookie cutter eCommerce template. There are a lot better targets to go after then this one. Was anyone thinking here? Besides the Board of Directors & the accountant.

On a funny note:

The GRO Project Venture training classes should be interesting on this subject. Keyword research, persona/sales copy,  article marketing and social networking should go real well. Who’s the freak mentor that has to show them these webex training class meetings?  I could just wonder who is the “gro certified distributor” That has to prepare and enter the data. :) :) :)

All the religious folks are going to love this.

Look at the images, we didn’t want to copy and use this text on our Blog. Commenting is in OUR FORUM

Thanks & Good Luck, Gro-Pro :)

A list of Common Wholesale Distributors Terms – Glossary

July 17th, 2009 Gro-Pro No comments

Here are definitions of typical terms ( Glossary ) used in the Wholesale Distribution Business. When you call a wholesaler or manufacturer you will need to know where and how your cost on items are applied from so you can be competitive and profitable in sales. We will supply you a complete list of Aftermarket Car Accessories, Automotive Performance Car Parts, Wholesale Distributors and Aftermarket parts Manufacturers for your own use. This will make your life simple when searching for a place to buy your inventory why have it hidden out of your reach and have to pay money to join GRO Project to get it. (stay tuned for the list only in OUR FORUM )

Glossary:

MSRP – Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price (Mfg can only suggest a retail price by law)

Jobber – Base retailer price or cost (your local auto parts store was the original Jobber) Generally 30% off MSRP is how many Manufacturers set Jobber price but there is no standard. Discounts “off Jobber” were intended to be a reward system for higher retailer sales volume. Discount percentages vary by mfg so don’t be concerned too much with vast differences. Jobber price today is, in most cases, the street price on the internet.

MAP – Minimum Advertising Price (sometimes called Manufacturer Absolute Price) Manufacturers set what the lowest “market price” or street price can be and violators of policy can lose line buying privileges. Legal as long as it is applied and enforced equally in the market (is not price fixing).

Market Price – advertised web price or “Street Price” is typically competitive fair market value, and is usually the same as the Jobber price. MSRP is rarely considered market price unless the manufacturer set the MAP Price at MSRP. Fair market value of some products is controlled by supply and demand. If the manufacturer does not control the market price by applying a MAP, then anyone can sell the products at whatever price they want ranging from below Jobber or even above MSRP.

Dealer (Retailer) – Is a retailer who sells to the end consumer. Dealer price is usually a price that the distributor charges a retailer. It is designed so that the retailer or dealer can still mark-up the product and make a profit. This price is typically some percentage discount from either the MSRP or the Jobber price.

Distributor – Is a discount for a stocking distributor that sells to retailers (IE: Carquest, NAPA stores) Distributors may also have a retail operation under the same company name. If a retailer has a good discount with their supplier than a retailer can become both a retailer and a distributor selling both retail to end consumers and wholesale to other retailers.

Wholesale Distributor – Also referred as WD, is an additional discount for a stocking distributor that sells to other smaller distributors and retailers (generally a medium size warehouse)

Master Wholesale Distributor – Also referred as MWD, is an additional discount beyond the WD discount for master wholesale distributors that distribute to resellers and often sells to other wholesale distributors (National warehouses)

Buy-in – a sizeable stocking order to earn a deeper discounts on product lines

How does GRO Project Work?

The Following is some explanation to what you may have gotten involved with or may be deciding as it applies to the GRO Project. We will break down what was actually copied from the Shopping Cart Elite Webstesite and comment IN CAPS along the way. Visit and join our Forum to post related items. Speak your mind. All images, posts & member comments related are there for viewing as well.

Part two of a series.

GRO Project overview 2How does GRO Project Work?

As a GRO Project user you will have a fully finished (WHEN?) and functional website (NO! IT IS STILL INDEVELOPMENT “PRE BETA”) on the most expensive Shopping Cart Elite package (THIS MEANS WHAT? “MOST EXPENSIVE” LETS MAKE THE PRICING UP. ALL OF THE SITES HAVE THE SAME DESIGNS AND BACKOFFICE).  The products for each website will be selected based on the market research performed by GRO Project (A NICHE MARKET = I WILL EXPLAIN THIS FURTHER LATER).  GRO Project will negotiate the discounts with each vendor to make sure there is a minimum of 25% net profit after the 10% GRO project fee for the client (YOU WILL NEVER SEE THESE NUMBERS, IT’S A FICTICOUS AND UNREALISTIC DREAM YOUR BEING SOLD LATER EXPLAINED IN DISTRIBUTOR POST). The vendor that will be assigned to the GRO Project will drop ship the products directly to the end consumer (THIS IS ANOTHER DISTRIBUTOR SCHEME TO BE EXPLAINED LATER). GRO Project will pay for licensing fee (IT IS SETUNO’S OWN DEVELOPMENT SO LETS MAKE UP FEE’S NOW) of the Shopping Cart Elite software for the client as well as any startup expenses as written in the User Agreement for GRO Project. (THE USER AGREEMENT! THIS IS HALF OF THE DROPOUT RATIO WITHIN THE GRO PROJECT AND IS NOT EXACTLY A WELL WRITTEN, IN YOUR FAVOR AGREEMENT. THE AGREEMENTS WILL BE EXPLAINED IN DETAIL LATER)

GRO Project Overview 1What is GRO Project?
GRO Project is a (IN PRODUCTION & NOT VALIDATED) solution for individuals who want to start a profitable (STILL TO BE QUESTIONED) online business (TIME DEPENDANT) but require help with startup funding, Search Engine Marketing training, product sourcing, programming and design. GRO Project will offer (OFFER?) each client a complete functional website (THIS IS A AN OPINION ON WHAT YOU THINK “COMPLETE FUNCTIONAL WEBSITE” REALLY MEANS) on the Shopping Cart Elite platform and broker deals with manufactures to drop ship products for the client at competitive pricing. (DISTRIBUTORS, BROKERING AND MANUFACTURERS WILL BE EXPLAINED ON ANOTHER POST) GRO Project client retains full operations (NOT EVER OWNING THE STORE, DOMAIN ETC) of the store and purchases directly from the manufacture or distributor that they deal with on a daily basis. GRO Project does not get involved in the daily operations of the business (THERE INVOLVEMENT IS DAILY THRU THE MENTOR ONLY, ONLY BECAUSE THE “LEADERS” CANNOT BE BOTHERED UNLESS YOU WANT AN UPGRADE $$$$). GRO Project will also assign a mentor who will train the client to run the business successfully and be responsible for the client’s ongoing successful. (SHOW A MENTOR WHO HAS ACTUAL SUCCESS) The mentor will be responsible for each store meeting a certain sales quota, (QUOTA = A SLIDING # THAT IS PULLED FROM THE AIR, NO STATS GIVEN) so the client can feel confident their business as our success depends on the client’s successful and we certainly will make sure 100% of our clients are successful. (100%? THE DROP OUT RATIO IS ABOUT 50%)
